Finding a lost item
Master of the Universe, it is known before You that I did not acquire this item for luxury or pride, but for my daily needs. Yet it has become lost from me [mention the item, e.g., “my keys,” “my wallet,” etc.].
May it be Your will, Lord my G-d and G-d of my fathers, that You help me find it quickly and easily, without stress or delay. For Yours is the power and the might to accomplish all things. Amen.
After Using the Bathroom
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, Who formed man with wisdom and created within him many openings and cavities. It is obvious and known before Your glorious throne that if but one of them were to be opened (when it should be closed), or closed (when it should be open), it would be impossible to survive and to stand before You for even one hour. Blessed are You, Lord, Who heals all flesh and performs wonders.
When Traveling
May it be Your will, Lord our God and God of our ancestors, that You lead us toward peace, guide our footsteps toward peace, and direct us toward peace. May You bring us in peace to our destination for life, joy, and peace. Save us from every enemy and ambush along the way, and from all calamities that come to the world. Send blessing upon the work of our hands, and grant us grace, kindness, and mercy in Your eyes and in the eyes of all who see us. Hear our prayer, for You are God Who listens to prayer and supplication. Blessed are You, Lord, Who hears prayer.
On Lighting the Shabbat Candles
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe, Who has sanctified us with His commandments and commanded us to light the Shabbat candle.
